New figures from property portal realestate.com.au have show that it is suburbs in South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria which have come out on top in attracting the most buyers from around Australia. All of the top ten come from these three states.
Managing director of Harris Real Estate, Phil Harris, said buyers across the country are attracted by the value that South Australian properties have to offer. “There are multiple entry points in the South Australian property market,” he says. “AU$250,000 can get you a beautiful home in a fantastic inner city location while this price may not get you much value in other states.”
The popularity of each suburb and its place in the list is defined by the number of people looking per listing. Realestate.com.au sales and operations general manager Arthur Charlaftis said the number of clicks a suburb receives is a good indicator of where buyers were searching. “Knowing if there’s a shift in interest towards a certain area gives confidence to sellers that their property will do well on the market,” he says.
