Investors with a property to rent in Barcelona will welcome news of an increase in flights announced by Emirates. From 2 May 2015, the Dubai airline will add more than 3,700 seats per week to its services to the Catalonian city, increasing overall capacity by 51%.
Barcelona is the 11th most-visited destination in the world, welcoming around 7.3million visitors annually.
Emirates senior vice president Hubert Frach said: “Barcelona continues to be a huge success story for Emirates. In less than three years we have not only launched a new service but also added significant capacity in order to keep up with customer demand. This extra daily flight is a major boost to our operations and firmly underscores our commitment to the Spanish market.”
