Leading Australian property website realestate.com.au has named its top ten suburbs for homebuyers in South Australia to consider on its annual Buyers’ Market list.
Many of these affordable suburbs are popular holiday home locations but still provide a lot of “bang for your buck”, according to the website.
Real Estate Institute of South Australia chief executive Greg Troughton says: “Some of those places would certainly be great places to live, but more importantly a lot of them are holiday destinations as well. They are where the affordable homes are without the pressure of a lot of purchasers.
“A lot of the towns could be great for a second home or a holiday home, or also for retirees because not only are the homes affordable but there’s enough infrastructure around.”
The top ten Buyers’ Market locations are
- Moonta Bay
- Port Pirie
- Wallaroo
- Kadina
- Naracoorte
- Renmark
- Loxton
- Murray Bridge
- Blakeview
- Encounter Bay
