A new study by Lloyds Bank has revealed the countries where most British people have emigrated to over the past five years.
While Australia remains the most popular destination by far, Spain has dropped down the list, usurped in second place by the USA.
Emigration in general has been falling in recent years and was 10% lower in the last five years than the five years before that. Levels peaked in 2006 when 203,000 Britons moved abroad, down to 137,000 in 2014.
