Another sign that Spain’s property market is on the rise comes in the form of an announcement by Chestertons, that it is strengthening its network of Spanish offices with a new associate in Barcelona.
Originally established as Kolesny Realty, the new company is called Chestertons Catalunya and its offices are situated in one of the city’s most prestigious streets, Passeig de Gracia.
The new office’s portfolio of properties covers the range of property available within the city of Barcelona as well as surrounding regions including Sitges, Maresme, the Costa Brava and Ibiza.
In addition to traditional residential and commercial sales, lettings, property management and refurbishment services, the Chestertons team will also offers assistance to foreign buyers with airport transfers and familiarisation tours.
Robert Bartlett, group chief executive officer of Chestertons, says: “There has been a resurgence in the Barcelona property market in the last two years and the city, with its cosmopolitan vibe and magnificent architecture, has a lot of appeal for UK and international buyers.”
